We all know that finding cheap resort deals in the low season is easy, and that finding them early in the high season is far more challenging. After looking around quite a bit today I was able to find an amazing deal that would even seem good for stays in October, but this is for January, which is the busiest month of the year in the Caribbean.
Right now you can book a Deluxe room for two people at the Park Royal Cozumel All Inclusive Resort for US$215 per night, which is 30% off the normal rate. Your first thought might be that this is an inferior resort that has to discount to fill rooms, but in fact the Park Royal gets excellent reviews and it has a fantastic location.
A Deluxe Room at the Park Royal Cozumel All Inclusive Resort for US$215 per night for two people in January. A Deluxe Ocean View room costs US$241 per night, which is also 30% off, and probably a very worthwhile upgrade for many people.
This rate is available through a promotion on Expedia, and it includes free cancellation. There is no minimum stay required to qualify, but the special is subject to availability, so booking soon is advised.
Three pools and three restaurants, plus great reviews
The Park Royal Cozumel All Inclusive is a 3.5-star resort with 348 guest rooms, and at these low room rates you might be shocked to hear that it gets an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on Expedia’s verified review system. This is way above average, which means that the vast majority of people feel that their expectations were exceeded by what they got. Combine that with a 30% discount, and you have amazing value.
The resort is right on the beach, of course, but it also has 3 swimming pools, so each guest will be able to find just the right atmosphere in which to relax. Many other resorts have only one pool, and if it’s having an endless Marco Polo game by a bunch of kids, you’d be stuck.
This resort also has 3 different restaurants, including one buffet restaurant and two a la carte restaurants that are both included in the price. The buffet restaurant serves Mexican and international dishes, while the other two are Mexican in one and Italian in the other, so even picky eaters should have no problem finding food they really enjoy that is included in the room price.
A good choice for families, this resort has supervised childrens’ activities and a kiddie pool, so parents can get a bit of a break during the day if they’d prefer. Admittedly, there aren’t many other included water sports and such, so this is a resort best suited to those who’ve come to relax rather than run themselves ragged by canoeing up and down the beach.
