Cancun beachfront all inclusive at US$149 per night, which is 65% off!

I almost never use exclamation points in headlines or articles on this site, but this week’s deal is so amazing that I couldn’t resist. The Royal Solaris Cancun Resort, Marina & Spa is offering rooms at only US$149 per night on a Fall Special promotion, for two people on an all inclusive plan. This is a very nice and highly rated 3.5-star resort in the heart of Cancun’s hotel district, at a price so low that it’s more expensive to stay home.

The Deal

A Deluxe Room for US$149 per night for two people at the Royal Solaris Cancun Resort, Marina & Spa in the coming months.

The Details

This rate is only available through Expedia, and it includes free cancellation, subject to availability, of course. There is no minimum stay required so you can even use it on a weekend trip. The rate also comes with an Expedia Extra, which is $58 off a trip to Chichen Itza.

Relax in the tropics at an amazing price

It’s true that Cancun is the cheapest all-inclusive destination in the Caribbean, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad place. The reason it’s affordable is that it has a huge and busy airport plus plenty of land for resorts, so competition has pushed prices down. In fact, the Hotel Zone in Cancun is one of the more fun and most interesting destinations in the Caribbean, partly because it’s close to the Chichen Itza ruins among other cultural sites.

So when we see a deal at US$149 per night for a large room at an all-inclusive hotel, you might wonder if it’s a dump. In this case, it’s actually a lovely 300-room 8-story hotel that gets very good reviews, so it’s an amazing deal.

As we’ve discussed before, the food and drinks alone for a couple at a beach resort would cost at least US$100 per day even if you are taking it easy. But here you can have the snacks and extra portions and drinks from the swim-up poolside bar, and not worry about the price.

Family friendly as well

These Deluxe rooms hold 4 people comfortably, so they are spacious for a romantic couple, but also suitable for families. The resort has a Kids Club, a kids pool, and babysitting services, so for a small extra fee you can bring the young ones along for a trip they’ll love too.

Each room comes with air conditioning, satellite TV, a CD player, and a view of the water. They even come with blackout drapes, which is a feature you’ll really appreciate if you are the type who likes to take a nap during the day and then stay up late in the hotel’s lounge. For a relaxing holiday at a great price, the Royal Solaris Cancun Resort can’t be beat.
