Deluxe all-inclusive in Antigua for only US$273 per night

People who know the Caribbean are well aware of the fact that Antigua & Barbuda is one of the most exclusive and expensive island nations, only a few steps below St. Barths. During the high season even the cheaper resorts on these beautiful islands are out of most of our price ranges, but right now there is a fantastic deal going that brings it into our reach.

The Jolly Beach Resort & Spa on Antigua normally charges close to US$500 per night per couple for their all-inclusive deals even during the low season, and it’s quite a bit more in winter. But right now you can book a room at this 3-star hotel for only US$273 per night per couple.

The deal

A Standard room at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa for US$273 per night for two people on an all-inclusive basis.

The details

This deal is availably only through our booking partner, Expedia, on selected dates in the next few months. The rate represents 35% off the normal rates for this time of year, but it does not require a long stay.

Affordable luxury on an exclusive island

The Jolly Beach Resort & Spa has 462 rooms in 21 separate low-rise buildings set on a 40-acre beachside property. The Standard room is no sacrifice, coming with a kingsize bed or two twins, an in-room safe, satellite TV, luxury bath amenities, and even a blackout curtain so you can sleep in as long as you’d like on your vacation.

For US$325 you can get a Superior room with either two queensize beds or one king, plus a balcony, which might be worth it considering the Caribbean views and weather are a big part of why you are going in the first place. For just under US$350 per night you can get a Junior Suite, which is the same thing with an added sitting area.

All-inclusive includes a lot here

At some of the lower priced all-inclusive resorts you are basically getting 3 buffet meals per day and a chair out by the pool to sit on. But at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa there is an excellent Italian restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a Caribbean seafood restaurant, a lunchtime grill, a poolside bar, and an open-air nightclub bar in addition to the main buffet restaurant. All food is included at all of them, except for a few specialty items and top-shelf liqours, but there’s no need to splurge for that when you are getting so much great stuff included.

During the day you might have a few drinks from the poolside bar, or you can play tennis, or go snorkeling, or use the fitness room, or even send annoying emails with photos to friends using the free wi-fi that is included. There’s also an extensive Kids Club with movies and activities, so it’s a very family-friendly resort.
