High rated adults-only Punta Cana all-inclusive resort at $390 per night in January

It should be clear to everyone that if you want to book a Caribbean holiday (or anywhere else in the world, for that matter) over the Christmas to New Years weeks, you should book now if you haven’t already. Those weeks are the busiest and most expensive pretty much anywhere there is a beach, but the good news is discounts are still available for those going in January instead.

The high season in the Caribbean runs from December through Easter, so January is extremely busy as well, which is why seeing discounts at really good resorts like this is promising. The Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only All Inclusive is offering 25% off right now for bookings in January, so it’s only US$390 per night for two people. It may not sound cheap, but this is one of the best all inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic, so it’s a good offer.

The Deal

A Junior Suite Garden or Mountain View at the Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only All Inclusive Resort for US$390 for two people in January. An Ocean View Junior Suite is $70 more per night, and a Master Suite with a pool view is $480 per night.

The Details

This offer is only available through Expedia, our booking partner, and it’s a non-refundable rate. It does not require a minimum number of days to qualify, so it’s available even for weekend bookings.

Adults only and fantastic quality

The Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only All Inclusive operates with a minimum guest age of 18 years old, so it’s perfect for romantic couples or really anyone who doesn’t want to be overrun by screaming children out by the pool when they are trying to relax. Many people are embarrassed to admit that they want to avoid kids on a holiday, but we know there is quite a large demand for resorts like this, so it’s good that this one succeeds in other ways as well.

With 456 rooms, this is a larger resort, and it features eight restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, full-service spa, and two large pools with swim-up bars. If you do the math you’ll see that each guest will be able to find something that suits him, and join crowds or avoid crowds if they please. Some all inclusive resorts this size have one huge buffet restaurant and a couple of small premium restaurants where you have to pay extra to avoid the masses, but not here.

Better still, this is a 4.5-star resort and it gets guest reviews that average 4.4 to 4.5 out of 5 on verified review sites. This means that almost everyone gives a full 5 stars and has their expectations exceeded. To have your expectations exceeded at a modest 3-star resort might not be tough, but at one that is 4.5-stars that’s quite a feat.
