With the economy continuing to struggle in most of the world, the high-end hotels are having to discount their prices to fill up, so places that are not normally affordable are suddenly within range for many of us. Today’s deal is a 4.5-star resort in a prime spot in the hotel district in Los Cabos in Baja California with rooms for only US$315 per night for two people on an all-inclusive basis.
While that deal is already pretty astounding, it doesn’t stop there, since our booking partner, Expedia, is offering two bonuses of your choice per stay. This means you can choose from a room upgrade, a Hydrotherapy Circuit spa treatment, or US$200 in resort credit as well, and you get 2 of the 3 of those if you book soon.
A Junior Suite Deluxe at the Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe Resort for US$315 per night for two people, all inclusive. An Ocean View room is US$373 per night on the same deal.
This rate is 30% off the normal seasonal rates through our booking parter, Expedia, but that does not take into account the 2 Expedia bonuses mentioned above that are included in this deal.
8 restaurants and 5 swimming pools
The important thing to stress about this offer is that the Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe Resort is a 4.5-star property that maintains an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 on TripAdvisor, putting it in elite company. The reason this is a big deal is that hotels that are rated above 4 stars generate very high expectations among guests, so it’s not uncommon that TripAdvisor reviews come up disappointed at all but the best of them. But at this resort, nearly everyone feels their expectations were exceeded, so it’s a solid choice at any price.
The Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe has 2 main buffet restaurants that are noted for very good food, but also 6 a la carte restaurants and 7 bars. In other words, you could spend a week here and only eat in the same place a couple of times, so there is no chance you’ll get tired of a limited menu.
Large and posh rooms
Again, this is a really nice hotel so you can expect deluxe amenities thourghout. It would take half a page to name them all, but some highlights are bathrobes, rainfall shower heads, premium bedding, and a minibar in every rooom.
If you choose a room upgrade as one of your Expedia Extras you will get a Family Deluxe Suite, which is even larger. The only problem there is that when you get such a large and luxurious room you might be tempted to just hang out there for most of your holiday instead of going out and enjoying the free food, drinks, and activities you are paying for, or the wonderful entertainment and nightlife each night.
