Cocobay Hotel is a beachside resort on the south west coast of Antigua. This small, English-speaking Caribbean island was formerly a significant British colonial outpost. Places like English Harbor and Shirley Heights are full of landmarks that illustrate aspects of the local colonial heritage. Today, tourists often visit Antigua for its snorkeling and scuba diving opportunities, as well as to explore its many secluded beaches along the winding coast. Some attractions that are close to Cocobay Hotel include Darkwood Beach, Jolly Harbour Golf Club, Mosquito Cove Beach and Fort Barrington.
People who want to travel to Antigua and stay at Cocobay Hotel should fly into the nearest airport, V.C. Bird International. It is located about 9 miles away, in St John’s.
Cocobay Hotel is set up on a bluff between two bays. It is meant for “romantic relaxation,” and guests must be at least 12 years old (except for certain times of the year).
This resort also contains a sea-view infinity-edge pool, along with an open-air spa. A reception-building computer provides internet for a surcharge. Guests may watch television in the open-air lounge. Some other resort amenities include two restaurants, one bar, spa tub, safe-deposit box at front desk, gift shop/newsstand, concierge desk, bellhop, 24-hour front help desk, wedding services, tour assistance, self parking, business services, beauty services and available medical assistance.
As for accomodations, there are 47 West Indian-style cottages with wood verandas and hammocks. Guests should be aware the cottages come without televisions, radios, air conditioners or telephones. Under the all-inclusive plan, guests are also allowed to use equipment and participate in kayaking, snorkeling and sailing in the small sailboats. Use of the swimming pool, spa tub and beach are complimentary, as are the lounge chairs and towel service.

Other features excluded from the all-inclusive plan are airport transfers; spa and beauty products, treatments and services; optional or outside tours and excursions; incidental purchases; telephone, fax and internet access charges; medical services; and laundry.
When guests stay at Cocobay Hotel under the European Plan, they will have to pay separately for the all-inclusive features.
