In a deal that would be good even during low season, you can now book a very nice 3.5-star resort on the beach in Montego Bay for 55% off the normal rate. Better still, kids 12 and under stay and eat for free, so this is quite an amazing deal at one of the better all inclusive resorts in the area.
At the moment you can book at Standard Room for only US$223 per night at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay All Inclusive, and that’s in February, which is the high season. Considering a family of four can eat and drink all they want, plus enjoy a variety of included activities, for such a low rate, this is one of the best deals we’ve seen in ages.
A Standard room at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay All Inclusive for only US$223 per night for two people, with kids 12 and under staying and eating free with parents. A Superior room, which has a partial sea view, is only US$233 per night, and a Deluxe room, which has an ocean front balcony or patio, os only US$245 per night.
This promotion is 55% off their normal rates, and is available through Expedia.com, our booking partner. It includes free cancellation, and there is no minimum stay required, but space is limited so book soon to lock in the promotion.
Two pools and recently renovated
With 520 rooms, the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay All Inclusive is one of the larger resorts in Jamaica, and it’s also one that has been renovated only a few years ago. Since most of these resorts are several decades old, it’s a common complaint for some of the cheaper ones that they feel very dated, but this one was refreshed in 2008 so it feels modern.
There are two pools, including a swim-up bar in one, but that’s just the beginning. There’s also a Kids Club, free wi-fi, a 24-hour fitness center, and even a 9-hole miniature golf course, all of it included in the room rate. There are also 7 restaurants and bars, with almost everything at all of them included in the room rate.
Simple but nice rooms
Each room includes one or two beds, cable TV with premium movies, an in-room safe, and of course a balcony or patio. They aren’t among the largest or most luxurious at any Jamaica resort, but the reviews are quite good and the whole idea of these all-inclusive resorts is that you spend most of your time at the beach or pool or having meals or drinks.
On top of everything else, the resort is only about 4 miles from the main Montego Bay Airport, which is one of the cheapest for flights into the Caribbean from almost anywhere. You can be sipping free mai tais at the pool less than an hour after your plane lands, while many other people from your flight are still in shuttle buses heading to Negril or Ocho Rios.
