Deluxe room at highly rated Cozumel all inclusive for US$184 per night

If you book this week’s deal there’s a decent chance you’ll see me there because this one seems impossible to pass up. Cozumel, which is an island just across fro Playa del Carmen and not far from Cancun, is among Mexico’s finest beach resort areas, yet the resorts are able to offer great prices as the high season starts to fade in the coming months.

The Park Royal Cozumel is now offering Deluxe rooms for two people for only US$184 per night with all meals and drinks included. That would be a tempting price at almost any beach resort, but this one is special and gets extraordinary ratings from past guests. In peak season around Christmas these rooms would cost double or triple, so this is a perfect time to get some luxury that you can’t afford otherwise.

The Deal

A Deluxe Room at the Park Royal Cozumel for only US$184 per night, all-inclusive. A Deluxe Room with an ocean view is only US$210 per night, and a Honeymoon Deluxe View is only US$224 per night for two people.

The Details

This promotion is only available through Expedia, our booking partner, and some rates include a 30% Early Bird Special, while all rooms include free cancellation. There is no minimum stay required to qualify, but availability is limited so book soon.

Three pools and glass balconies

The Park Royal Cozumel has 348 guest rooms and 3 pools right on the beach, but its most interesting feature is the glass balconies they’ve built. This is something I’ve never seen before and I have a feeling it will be a major trend in the future. The front wall of the balcony is glass so from inside the room you can see the whole view outside, whether it’s of the garden or of the ocean. In this case the ocean view upgrade price is even more worth it. Many hotels have only a few cross bars so you can see out a bit, but there’s nothing like a real glass balcony.

The hotel is also very family friendly with a Kids Club, a children’s pool, and even babysitting service. There’s a swim-up bar for the adults, so the parents can be sipping free margaritas while the kids are happy as can be in their own play area with plenty of company.

Fantastic guest reviews

All of this sounds good, but if the hotel is run down and the service is bad, it’s not a great bargain in the end. The good news here is that this is one of the highest rated resorts in the area. The verified guest reviews give it 4.4 out of 5 stars with 92 percent recommending it. These are honestly among the highest numbers I’ve seen, and normally only found at 5-star hotels charging 5 times this much.

The Park Royal Cozumel is a 3.5-star hotel with very reasonable prices, so to have guests respond so positively means that this is a winner and one that should be booked early.
