Almond Beach Club and Spa is an adults-only resort on the west coast of Barbados. This resort is located in St James, an area sometimes named the “Platinum Coast,” due to a few billionaire residents. It is also close to Holetown, which has the spot where the English colonists arrived in the 1600s. Today, this part of Barbados is complete with restaurants, shops and boutiques. Some additional tourist attractions to this resort include Paynes Bay Beach, Folkestone Marine Park and Sir Frank Hutson Sugar Museum.
Adults who wish to fly into Barbados and stay at Almond Beach Club and Spa should fly into the nearest airport, Grantley Adams International. It is located about 12 miles away, in Bridgetown.
Almond Beach Club and Spa is a five-acre hotel limited to guests age 16 and over. In terms of its beach, this resort fronts 100 yards of coral-rimmed water. It also has a large pool that is divided by a waterfall. For relaxing, it Almond Beach Club offers a cool-water spa tub, a sunning lawn and a sandy terrace overlooking the beach. There are also several restaurants and bars located on its grounds. Room service is available during limited hours.
The on-site health and beauty spa contains a sauna and spa, and offers guests massage, hydrotherapy, body treatments, facials, hair care and nail care. The staff offers assorted activities and entertainment, such as Bajan cooking classes, West Indian dance lessons, pool aerobics and nightly entertainment.

Almond Beach Club and Spa has 161 guestrooms, spread out in seven three- and four-story buildings that are arranged around the pool and courtyard. They offer climate control through air conditioning, ceiling fans and louvered panels or windows. Additional room amenities include satellite television, VCR, pay movies, CD player, cassette player, premium bedding, separate sitting area, sewing kit, balcony, patio, sofa bed, desk, in-room safe, shower/tub combination, complimentary toiletries, make-up/shaving mirror, hair dryer, bathroom phone, multi-line phone, free local calls, voice mail, daily housekeeping, coffee/tea maker, access via exterior corridors, in-room massage available, iron and ironing board. When guests book a room at this all-inclusive hotel, they will not have to pay extra for the majority of food, drinks, or any taxes or gratuities. They will get unlimited meals at restaurants and bars, as well as all drinks, including premium-brand liquor. Lunch and dinner room service is covered, as are snacks at the restaurants.

The all-inclusive entertainment options are the live nightly shows, piano bar or disco at the partner resort.
What’s not included
Some features that are not covered under the room rate include airport transfers; spa and beauty products, treatments and services; optional or outside tours and excursions; motorized water sports (except for water skiing and banana boating); incidental purchases; telephone, fax and internet access charges; business services; laundry and dry cleaning; video and photo services; and medical services.
While use of the golf course at Almond Beach Village Resort is not included, guests may get a discount (US$5 per person includes green fee, clubs, and pool cart; tee time reservations required). High-speed wireless internet access is available at a surcharge.
