The Riu Emerald Bay All Inclusive resort is situated in the Nuevo Mazatlan neighborhood of this small Mexican city. People who stay in this resort may have easy access to the Golden Zone, a prime tourist area full of hotels and restaurants, as well as the El Cid Country Club Golf Course. They can easily get to Punta de Clavavistas, a four-story platform located above the ocean, and Playa Norte, a long stretch of beach that is good for walking (but not for swimming).

Visitors who wish to travel to Mazatlan can fly into the General Rafael Buelna International Airport. Guests who stay at this resort should be aware it is a smoke-free property.

The Riu Emerald All Inclusive offers its guests three outdoor swimming pools, children’s pool, health club, sauna, steam room, babysitting, ballrooms, conference rooms, valet parking, patio, bellhop, concierge desk, on-site shopping, dry cleaning, laundry, elevator, event catering, arcade/game room, hair salon, beauty services, wedding services, on-site medical assistance, umbrellas, tours/ticket assistance, children’s club and multilingual staff.

People may dine at at one of the resort’s four restaurants, or drink at the property’s nightclub, swim-up bar, poolside bar, and regular bar/lounge.

The rooms at this Mazatlan resort feature balconies, as well as bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Guests can enjoy the premium television channels, make-up and shaving mirrors, pay movies, flat-panel televisions, climate control, ceiling fan, phone, clock radio, refrigerator, desk, minibar, daily housekeeping, complimentary bottled water, turndown service, blackout drapes, hairdryer and in-room safe.

Cribs are also available upon request. 

What’s included

For guests who pay the room rate at the Riu Emerald All Inclusive, it will include basic meals, snacks, local beverages, imported beverages, minibar, liquor dispenser and wireless internet access in public areas. People may enter the Pacha night club (open six days a week) and drink there under this plan.

Guests may also use this resort’s gym, sauna and spa tub. Taxes and gratuities are also included in this rate. People must wear an “All Inclusive” wristband to take advantage of these features.

What’s not included

The room rate plan does not include billiards, spa services, spa products, computer use, high-speed internet access, nearby watersports, golf course or horseback riding.

Guests have the option of adding access to recreational activities to their plans. Entertainment is also optional, which would include daily shows for children and adults, as well as live music.

While the basic meals are included in the room rate, some restaurants may require additional fees for certain meals and beverages.
